IFSC CONSTITUTION
OBJECTIVES
Short Term Objectives
To develop the Club and to work actively towards increasing its membership
To provide a positive image of Indian football and Players, to the media, general public, and Indian communities throughout the World
To raise funds to carry out the Club's Objectives
To organise events to raise the awareness about our Organisation and Indian football
To set-up an own IFSC Website (as early as possible)
Long Term Objectives
The club will work closely with Schools, Clubs and any other organization that may need or want our support
To promote the cause of full-time professional football played within India
To liaise on behalf of its members with football Clubs, and to work for the greater representation of its members and supporters in general in the decision-making of the AIFF
To raise funds to carry out the Club's Objectives
To undertake any other actions that furthers the general welfare of members, or which benefit the Club or Indian football
To support Indian football Club's and the Indian national team in matches and to work to their greater success
To obtain representation on the AIFF board (maybe something for the future)
To liaise with supporters of the club world-wide to promote the good name of Indian national football team
Work together with Federations and Clubs to find big sponsors for Indian football
Help the players in attaining Professional Status
Establishment of Sub-committees
1. The Main committee of the IFSC shall establish sub-committees as necessary to further its aforesaid aims
2. The main committee of the IFSC may also establish further such sub-committees as it may deem necessary from time to time.
3. The main committee of the IFSC shall provide standing orders for the conduct of all associated committees
Membership
1. Any person shall be entitled to be a member of the Club by acceptance of the Constitution of the IFSC
2. All members of the main committee shall be full members of the club
3. Honorary life membership may be extended to those who have rendered outstanding services to the Club and also to the founding members of the Club
I. The Annual General Meeting of the IFSC shall be held every 2 Years
II. Extraordinary General Meetings shall be held for such purposes and convened is such manner as shall be required by this constitution at any time by
a) The Chairman of the committee
b) Three Officers of the committee or
c) at the written request of a minimum of 20 members of the association, addressed to the Honorary General Secretary
III. Two month's notice in writing must be given to all members to convene a General meeting together with an agenda which shall be kept by the Honorary Secretary and be available on request to all members of the club
IV. The Club Committee may reprimand, suspend or expel any member or refuse membership to any prospective member, who:
i) has not acted in the best interests of the Club, or
ii) has violated the Objectives of the Club, or
iii) has brought the Club into disrepute, or
iv) has breached the Rules of the Club, or
v) has acted with violence towards another member of the Club, or
vi) has not paid his Membership fee, or
vii) Has been convicted of an offence relating to his/her footballing activities in a court of law, or
viii) Has acted against the interest of Indian football
Such member or prospective member may present their case in person to the Club Committee. An offending member shall receive notice of the AGM and shall be allowed to appeal to the AGM, where a simple majority shall decide.
Membership Fee
Each person wanting to attain full Membership in the IFSC International has to pay an annual Membership fee
The Membership fee shall depend on the place of Residence of the Member
Officers and committee of the Club
1. The governing body of the Club shall be an elected committee
The Officers of the Club shall be:
Chairman
General Secretary
Treasurer
Assistant Secretary
Membership Coordinator
Publicity Officer
Director of Programmes
Executive Committee members
Coordinators - Representatives from each local IFSC
Regional Coordinators around the world
Advisors - Appointed by the committee in association with IFSC -branches.
a) The Officers as specified in paragraph 2 above
b) A minimum of two and a maximum of four further members of the Club
c) If needed, external expertise can be consulted
Amendments
1.The Club shall have the power to make amendments to this constitution but such amendments to this Constitution shall be made only on the votes of not less than two thirds of those who, being entitled to do so, vote in person as a General Meeting of the Club, a quorum being present
2. Notice of the terms of any proposed alterations shall be given in writing to the Hon. Secretary at least 30 days before such General Meeting and the Hon. Secretary shall have posted a copy to each member of the Club at least 14 days before the meeting
